Happy 1 month Birthday Kayleigh!

I can not believe that Kayleigh is a month old already. This past month has gone by so fast, probably has something to do with the eating every 3 hours, but wow...she is really a month already.  When she first came into our lives, we had no idea how much love and happiness she would bring to us.  I can not even imagine my life without her now.

When she was first born I though she looked just like me, but now that she is filling out she looks a lot more like Jeremy.  I still think she has my mouth, the rest of her is Jeremy!  Her eyes are still blue and she still has some light brown hair, not enough for a bow, but there is hair!!  We go to the doctors on Tuesday for a check up and I am curious how much she weighs cause she has some leg rolls now!

Kayleigh loves her baths, cuddling with her mommy and daddy, and anything that lights up.  Jeremy discovered the other day she likes country music!  I am pretty sure she LIKES Christmas music too!!  She eats every 3 hours during the day and sleeps well at night.  We got to bed around 11pm or 11:30pm and she wakes up about 5 hours later to eat, then goes back to sleep for another 4 hours.  I can't say that we do anything special to get this much sleep, but she pretty much eats every hour from 7pm till bedtime...guess her belly is really full and she LOVES to be swaddled!  During the day she sleeps thru everything, including the barking dogs!  She gets daily kisses from her puppies and thousands of kisses from her parents along with a few extra kisses that come from her Nana and Papa!

 I have decided that every month we are going to do a photo with her bunny that came from Papa.  That way you can see how big she gets every month.  The bunny has a very special story behind it.  When I was little I LOVED bunnies (well I still LOVE them) and my dad wanted to make sure she had a bunny too.  He searched everywhere for the perfect bunny and found this precious pink one at Pottery Barn Kids (I can't believe he went in that store).  If you know my dad he is not a shopper so Kayleigh is so very special that Papa shopped around for a perfect one!  Thanks Papa for the bunny, we love it!

It's A Boy!!

 On Thursday November 11, 2010 my Best Friend Jennifer and her husband gave birth to a precious little boy Grayson Finn Ethridge.  He was 8lbs 14oz and 21 inches long.  Jenn pushed him out and I am SOO proud of her!  He is adorable and him and Kayleigh are boyfriend and girlfriend already!  Pretty sure we will have these photos in their wedding slideshow one day!  CONGRATULATIONS JENN, JOSH and AVERY on your new addition!
