I can not believe the holidays are over already. It always seems to go by so fast. I spent Christmas Eve watching Christmas movies with Kayleigh then the two of us attended chruch (Jeremy was working at Home Depot even though not many people were buying windows and trim).

After church the 3 of us had a lobster dinner as a family at the dining room table! Growing up my family did a 3 course meal on Christmas Eve with lobster being the final course. Since we have a 2 month old we decided to have all the courses at one time!!
We always open one gift on Christmas Eve. Kayleigh is opening her gift from Nana and Papa. What do you think it is?

Growing up my dad always read us The Polar Express and The Night Before Christmas before we went to bed. Jeremy and I want to continue this tradition with our family so this year we read the books to Kayleigh. This year Hallmark had recordable books and my dad gave us one so my dad/Papa is able to always read The Night Before Christmas to me and my family on Christmas Eve and Jeremy can read the Polar Express.
