Opryland Hotel

For the past 6 years (wow I can't believe I have been here for 6 holiday seasons already) Jeremy and I have gone down to the Opryland hotel in Nashville.  For you that know about Nashville Opryland hotel is a HUGE hotel with 3 large atriums that are decorated for Christmas.  They also have a life size nativity scene which is set up outside.  We drove by the nativity scene this year, but did not get out of the car to see it as it was 15 degrees outside when we left Opryland.  Opryland was affected by the flooding in Nashville this spring and was reopened in time for Christmas.  I don't think they had as many decorations as usual, but it still is beautiful at Christmas time.
Every year the poinsettia tree is my favorite.

There is a large water feature that "dances" to music.  We always go sit by it for a show while we are there.  Kayleigh slept thru her first holiday water show.

Opryland always has a huge Christmas tree set up.  Its so pretty.
As long as we live in Tennessee we will continue to visit Opryland yearly.  I know the decorations don't change much from year to year, but it still pretty and gets us in the holiday season!  It kinda reminds me of going to the city and country building every year in Denver.  It's just a holiday tradition.
