5 months

Bad picture, but look at her sitting up all by herself!!

So Kayleigh is 5 months old!  I can not believe it!  Its just amazing to me that she has been in our lives for 5 months!  At times it seems as if she has been with us forever, but I can still remember EVERYTHING about her being born 5 short months ago!!
She is a busy girl now a days!

• Can roll from her back to stomach and stomach to back
• She LOVES to roll onto her tummy and play that way
• Starting to sit up all by herself...still needs a pillow behind her to brace her falls
• Takes most of her naps on her belly, we still lay her on her back to sleep, but she usually rolls onto her tummy.  Yes, this totally stresses out her PICU mother, but everyone says it's fine because she does it herself and we don't have ANYTHING else in her bed!
• Still loves her swing.  Jeremy and I know those days are getting close to ending since she plays with the mobile on it while she lays in it!
• Can swing in a swing at the park
• Is VERY interested in our food and cups...we are going to start cereal this week
• Still sucks on her thumb all of the time
• Still wears a size 2 diaper!
• Loves to chew on sophia the giraffe and her buzzing bee
• Holds her bottle by herself (Miss Independent)
• And still LOVES her mommy and daddy!  She has special times with both of us!  Her and Jeremy make funny noises together, watch The Wiggles on the computer and sing some very special songs.  Kayleigh and I have tea parties, play during bath time and sing in the car!

Happy 5 Month Birthday Baby Girl!

On a really exciting note, my parents come this afternoon!  Kayleigh and I are going to the airport to pick them up!  We can't wait for our week with them!!!
