8 Months

 Wow 8 Months!  I can't believe Kayleigh is really 8 months old already.  This past month I feel like she has really developed a lot.  No she is not crawling yet, but she is SOO much more interactive, loves to play and watches EVERYTHING we do.  She giggles over everything especially funny noises we make.  She even cries most of the time when I leave the room.  She doesn't always do that for Jeremy, but when we are home together if I am out of sight she cries.  (Secretly I think it's precious!!  She loves to be with her mommy!!)

Here is the 8 month recap:
Still wearing size 3 diapers
Wearing 9-12 month clothes
Chews on anything she can get in her mouth
Gives us a high-5
Does this funny tongue/spitting thing with Jeremy (he taught her a trick!)
Claps her hands together when you say Yeah!
Tries really hard to get into the crawling position, but just falls onto her belly
Still really enjoys mommy's singing
Rolls all around
Loves to chew in the side of our area rug??
Favorite toys are the stacking cups and the mail carrier walker
Loves to swim in both the big and baby pool
Favorite food is probably the banana/blueberry mixture or watermelon, but actually likes anything you feed her
Still nurses about 5 times a day
Loves to skype with Nana, Papa and her Uncles!
Still falls asleep at the end of the day during her last nurse and I can cuddle with her on my chest.  I still love this time because during the day she is such a busy girl and does not want to cuddle, but at night when we cuddle I love every moment!!

Wow...I really am 8 months old!
