9 Months Old

 July 12, 2011 Kayleigh was 9 months old.  We have now known her longer on the outside then we knew her on the inside.  This past month has been so much fun.  Kayleigh is really developing a little personality and as I have said before I LOVE this stage of her.  She is so much fun!
A little about this past month:

• Learned to wave bye-bye
• Semi-crawls.  She takes 4-6 real crawls then falls to her belly and army crawls
• Gives her baby dolls kisses
• Mimics lots of sounds that we make
• Loves to play the repeat game with sounds
• Eats 3 meals a day and nurses 4 times a day
• Still takes 2 naps a day
• Can pull herself up on many things, especially the couch and ottoman
• Screams or cries if you leave the room
• Gets SOO excited to see her mommy when she gets home from work
• Loves to "talk" on the phone.  She gets the biggest smile when someone talks to her on the phone, but always has to look at the screen of the phone to see the picture
• Likes her stacking cups and squeaky monkey
• Loves to go swimming and enjoys her float and being held in the water
• Pulls on her ear when she is tired or nervous about something
• Still sucks her thumb when she is tired
• Drinks out of a level 3 nipple on the bottle
• Wears size 3 diapers
• Wears 9-12 month clothes
• Still loves her mommy and daddy
