Nativity Scene

These pictures just melt my heart.  

When I was decorating the house for Christmas of course my helper was right at my side helping me.  When it came time for the nativity scene I knew she would probably like it since there are people in it.  We have been talking a lot about baby Jesus and how Christmas is a celebration of his birthday.  She sings Happy Birthday to baby Jesus!

As we were opening each and every figurine she wanted to know who it was and then would play with them.  My Grandma gave this manger scene to Jeremy and I for our wedding and it matches the ones that all of my cousins have so it has a special place in my heart for many reasons.  It reminds me of my Grandma and of all of my family members who I miss so much.  I guess it just makes me happy to look at it!

Merry Christmas Grandma and Grandpa.  I love and miss you but I know you are enjoying a beautiful Christmas together in heaven.
