6 Month Birthday

Happy 6th Month Birthday Kayleigh Girl!  I can not believe my little girl is a half a year old (wipe some tears!)  She has such a little personality already.  She is so busy and very aware of EVERYTHING going on around her. 

Here are some 6 month memories: 

*She smiles and laughs constantly, especially when her doggies come into the room, at her daddy's feet and fake sneezes.  

*Everything goes in her mouth

*Her favorite toy is a bee that has a vibrating wing which of course she puts in her mouth!!  It's the best church toy since the vibrating is quite and it keeps her quite when it's in her mouth!

*Loves her pink bunny lovey Uncle Mark gave her

*Still wears a size 2 diaper during the day and a size 3 over night diaper at night (we had some leakage over night!)

*Sits in the stroller like a big girl now, we hardly ever put the infant carrier on the stroller anymore

*Eats rice cereal every night and has been introduced to green beans and carrots

*Really likes her sippy cup

*Sits in the shopping cart at the store in her shopping cart cover

*Smiles and talks to Nana, Papa and Uncle Mark on skype (I love that she recognizes them now thru the computer!!)

*Still nurses every 3 to 4 hours

*Sits in highchairs at restaurants 

*Eats books when we try to read

*Enjoys listening of music especially mommy singing the Sound of Music songs

*Still takes 2 naps a day!  Takes both in her crib for Mommy and takes her AM nap in her swing for her Daddy

Kayleigh is so long!

She sits up by herself all the time and of course wants anything in front of her!

She was tuckered out from her photo shoot.  Tomorrow is another big day...we are having professional pictures taken by Hilary Flynn.  We are really excited and of course Kayleigh has a few cute outfits to wear for the events!
