I can not believe our little girl is almost 1. I will save my tearful post for her first birthday! Wow....Miss Kayleigh has changed so much this year. It just seems like she grew up so much :( this past month. It has been a fun and adventureful month as she is busy as ever!
11 Month Review:
- Learned to walk...and walks most of the time now
- Can do some talking- dada, uh-oh, Layla and mimics some other things we say. Still no mama
- Knows a few animal sounds- dog, monkey, sheep and we are working on cow and duck
- Wears 9, 12, and 18 month clothes
- Still wears a size 3 diaper
- Eats 3 full meals a day
- Nurses or takes a 6oz bottle 4 times a day
- Loves to eat puffs out of her snack cup
- Is busy, busy, busy...we have moved all picture frames off table and sometimes rearrange furniture the furniture to keep her in the family room
- Knows what her baby is...gives it kisses and pushes on it's eye
- Her favorite toy is this stuffed dalmatian Uncle Lance gave her because she knows it's a dog and barks for it
- Loves to read books...looks at the pictures over and over. Even makes sounds like she is reading sometimes.
- If she sees a dog or monkey in a book she makes the animal sound
- Has learned how to give wet, sloppery kisses!! We love our kisses!
- Does not really like wearing her hair bows. I put them back in all the time, but she pulls them out and hands them to me!! We will keep working on this because little girls HAVE to wear their hair bows!
- Is still very social. I don't think she has met a stranger yet!
- Has one tooth!
- If the gate at the bottom of the stairs is open...she is up the stairs in a second
- Sometimes she stops all of her hard play to give her Mommy and Daddy kisses and hugs. We cherish all of these as we know she is still our baby that loves us!
