Necklace Test

When Jeremy and I went to the doctors this week she did a necklace swing test on me to determine if it's a boy or a girl. She said it's just something fun she likes to do and then likes to see if the results are correct. This test has to be performed by a fertile lady, she holds a necklace over a pregnant persons hand, if the necklace swings back and forth it's a boy and if it swings in circles, it's a girl. Well you are never going to guess what mine did??

It swang back and forth!! So that means it's a boy!! (We still do not really know what it is, but the necklace test says it's a boy)

I decided to try this test a work this week with a few other pregnant people. Jenn (who does not know what she is having) swang in a circle so that means her baby is a girl!! Pretty sure that means that we are setting up an arranged marriage already! Little Emmerson Ethridge will become Mrs. Emmerson Harrison one day! Mindy (who knows that she is having a boy) swang back and forth, making the test valid on one account. I will have to continue to wear my necklace to work and do it over a few more pregnant girls who know what they are having to keep validating the test! It's just a fun way to "see" what we are having!

Other exciting events of this 28th week of pregnancy, Jeremy has started painting the baby's room! It is pretty much all green now, minus a little bit of the trim! He will finish the trim, we will let it dry for a few days and then tape it off for the tan stripes!! I am so excited that he has made so much progress on the room.

Once it's all painted he is going to put a ledge/chair rail up around the room and trim out the window then we can move the dresser into the room from the hallway and I can start doing a little decorating and organizing!
All in all things are coming along nicely. Just still counting down the days till baby Harrison is here. We are back to the drawing board on little boy names. We are just not sold 100% on Bode, so we are making a list of new names. Let us know if you have any ideas and suggestions!?!? We would like a short first name that does not start with the letter 'J'. We don't want to be like the Dungers from TLC and have all 'J' names in our family!
