One month countdown.....

The sayings that Jeremy and I finally decided upon

One month from today is my new official due date! Can you believe that in a month (or so) we are really going to be parents? Wow...Mommy Jessica and Daddy Jeremy or course brother Koa and sister Layla! It's just really weird that anytime I could go into labor. I told Jeremy that he must ALWAYS answer his phone when I call just incase it's that ever so important phone call of "Jeremy, I think it's time to go to Vandy!" I also hope that our parents realize the same thing...you MUST answer your phone when we call!!

I just can't help to wondering what day our baby will actually be born on. I have read funny things like a Monday baby means...a Tuesday baby means...and so on. Wonder what the personality of our baby will be? I hope that it takes after both of us in some ways, but I really hope that it gets Jeremy's calmness and patience!
I feel like I should probably pack my hospital bag soon just in case, but then I don't want to be too psyco already and pack to early. I bought a hospital outfit the other day with matching slippers and all just so I feel complete at the hospital. I told Jeremy that he should think about what he wants to pack and his response was "I will just come home to change!" Really? So if we are in labor for 24 hours I guess he is going to just wear the same thing and not worry about it. That is totally Jeremy so I won't worry about him, or I might just throw a pair of shorts and a clean shirt, toothbrush and a contact case into my bag just in case he MIGHT want clean clothes and personal items!
Good thing we have an amazing neighbor across the street, Hallie, who will keep an eye on our precious puppies while we are at the hospital so I know they will be taken care of with much love and attention! She will also bring us anything that we need from our house to the hospital, just in case we forget something!!
I have thought about how many outfits to pack for the baby?!?! If I have a c-section I will need 3 or 4 outfits cause we will be there for 3 days but if I don't have a c-section I will only need 2 or 3 outfits...decisions, decisions...and of course I have to have the matching blankets! Good thing my mom has well prepared the baby with some matching outfits and blankets! Thanks mom! (I guess she knows that I can go a little overboard with making things match!)
So the room is finished! Yeah! Everything is in it's place except the crib which won't be here till October 1st! I am not worried...we have the pack-n-play to use in our room for the first few weeks anyways.
The changing table Jeremy made from an old desk we had!

Layla and Koa LOVE to be in the baby's room

Looks to much better in the baby's room than the hallway!

I have one more baby shower this Thursday with all of my Nashville friends! I am very excited to spend that time with them so celebrate Baby Harrison!

  1. you crack me up! I brought one outfit for coming home. in the hospital it was the hospital white camino shirt with super long arm sleeves. so I'd suggest just a coming home outfit for a boy or girl or one for each. (I'm cheap - we had an orange and brown striped sleeper. But I know if you have a girl she'll require pink and a bow.) =)
